Foggo also participated in events commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of Paris during the trip.
The U.S. State Department approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Japan of up to 73 Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IIA missiles for an estimated cost of $3.295 billion.
The United States’ State Department approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to South Korea of 12 MH-60R Multi-Mission helicopters for an estimated cost of $800 million. This is for the MOH Batch 2 requirement of the RoK Navy in which the AW159 and NH90 NFH are competing as well.
The US Coast Guard commissioned the 33rd fast response cutter (FRC), Joseph Doyle, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, June 8. The cutter is the seventh FRC to be stationed in San Juan.

The US Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) completed the First Production Unit (FPU) of the W76-2 warhead Feb. 22 at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. The W76-2 is a modification of the W76-1 warhead to provide a low-yield, sea-launched ballistic missile warhead capability.
The US Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) celebrated the completion of the Program of Record for the W76-1 Life Extension Program (LEP) on January 23 at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas.
