The Italian Navy Paolo Thaon di Revel, the first of class PPA Multipurpose Offshore Patrol Ship is now in the water following its roll out ceremony at the Fincantieri Shipyard in Muggiano – La Spezia, Italy. The vessel will feature a hybrid GE LM2500+G4 gas turbine propulsion system.

The U.S. Navy christened the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, the USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118), on June 22 at the General Dynamics Bath Iron Works shipyard in Bath, Maine. DDG 118 is the third (of nine) Arleigh Burke-class, “Flight IIA: Technology Insertion” variant. “Technology Insertion” ships are fitted with elements from the future DDG 51 Flight III.
The DSME-built submarine ‘Dosan Ahn Chang-ho’ started its seat trials from Opko shipyard on June 10, 2019. It is the first vessel of the KSS-III Batch I program for the Republic of Korea Navy (RoK Navy).
